We know what we can do better
At Koopress, we create packaging with the environment in mind. It is our goal to achieve a closed manufacturing cycle in which there is as little material waste as possible and it is reusable. In this manner, we not only save natural resources but also try to meet the expectations of increasingly conscious consumers who are interested in environmentally friendly products and are willing to pay more for them. We know that making recyclable packaging is not only beneficial for the environment in many respects but is also economically justified.
We strive for perfection
Koopress tries to conduct its business activities according to a closed cycle model, owing to which we can save natural resources and reduce the amount of waste generated. Since the number of conscious consumers is increasing, it is becoming economically sound to produce easily recyclable packaging manufactured in part from recycled materials.
At Koopress, we conduct our business activities so that the whole manufacturing process has the features of a closed-loop model. Closed manufacturing processes are those which reuse material waste generated during the process of production to create extra solutions.
Conscious goal
We see the need to continuously improve our production methods and minimise the negative effects on the environment, and we strive to achieve the right balance between a conscious and responsible approach to environmental issues and running an economically effective business. Our approach to this issue includes:
- identification, acquisition and use of materials which help to minimise the negative environmental impact,
- monitoring all the supply chain parts,
- inspiring our suppliers and customers to apply sustainable environmental practices,
- promoting natural resource protection through encouraging the effective use of energy and the application of recycled materials whenever possible,
- reducing emission of CO2 and other pollutants to the atmosphere, reducing the amount of waste generated, while maximising the extent of recycling,
- developing staff awareness of environmental issues through appropriate training programmes,
- sharing information on the company’s environmental policy,
- complying with regulations concerning environmental protection and others.
